Sam is a Director in climate and nature advisory and investment firm Pollination. He has over 12 years’ experience in national climate change and environment policy and law. Prior to joining Pollination, Sam advised the Australian Government on climate change policy and clean energy investment policy. This included as a Director with the Federal Government across work in carbon accounting, land sector and industrial abatement and working closely with the Australian Renewable Energy Agency and the Clean Energy Finance Corporation. In the wake of Australia’s 2019-20 Black Summer Bushfires, Sam led a climate, environment and mitigation policy team at the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements. He has deep experience in carbon offset and carbon accounting policy, and earlier in his career worked in national environmental law, science communication, and grassroots environmental conservation.
