Peter’s passion for marketing started during university, born out of a subject assignment to develop a marketing campaign strategy and implementation plan. Since graduating, his 15-year career journey has included brand, customer marketing, media, and marketing communication roles, across national and international brands within the telecommunications, banking, and retail industries.
As Head of Media for IKEA Australia, he is highly motivated to champion media as a profitable and measurable growth driver - building long-term brand health, whilst capitalising on short-term activation opportunity. He is energised by the dynamic pace of industry innovation and capability, meeting and exceeding ever-changing consumer needs, and investing in meaningful stakeholder relationships.
